Citizenship application using South African degree

Has anyone perhaps gone through the citizenship application WITHOUT using naric to verify your South African bachelors degree?

The reason I ask is because when I went to the national checking service they were not sure whether providing a printout of the points calculator along with my degree would suffice however i submitted regardless.

Doesn't matter where the degree is from if it is awarded the necessary number of points on the PBS calculator.
