EC Funds : Please Help/Advise

Post by push » Fri Jun 22, 2007 8:41 am

Hi,

I intend to apply for EC soon. As I have been in UK for last many months (studying), I hardly have any money left in my Indian Savings account.

I plan to get some money from my parents. This obviously means that I will have an almost nil balance in last 2/3 months and a sudden inflow of huge chunks of money. This will definitely arouse suspicion - despite the genuine nature of the case.

Will getting the money transferred through cheques, providing the photocopies of those cheques & a notarised Gift Deed made by my parents suffice?

Is there any other option that I should be looking at? Kindly advise

Regards,

push_HSMP

Your parents can always write a letter stating they will support you if you need help in the UK and show their bank statements

Dear SYH,

Thanks for the advice.

Just wanted to know, whether the approach that I have suggested i.e. getting funds transferred to my account and support the same by a gift deed would be a better (stronger) evidence?

Others: comments/advice/help please.

regards,
