i am planning to go to lebanon to get married in november. i am on the sick and i receive dla higher rate care, and dla lower rate mobility , and esa support group , also get ht severe disability premium
i don't have any significant savings

would i be exempt from the financial requirement ?

i have my own one bedroom flat which i rent from the council with housing benefit fully paid

also how long does is take now to get ILR ?

Yes you will be exempt. You'll lose the SDP on your ESA-IR when your spouse moves in. It takes 5 years to get ILR. A1 English also required. As (s)he's from Algeria, (s)he can claim Carer's Allowance, when in the UK and when (s)he meets the presence and residence requirements amongst the other criteria.

Oh yes, where did I get Algeria from? Then ignore the part regarding Carer's Allowance.

However, according to - http://www.immigrationboards.com/claimi ... ml#p941521 - s(he) is neither Lebanese nor Algerian but Bulgarian and thus doesn't need leave to enter :?
