FLR (M) form Section 4

Hi all,

I am just in the process of filling in the FLR (M) form for my wife. Section 4 relates to dependent children of which question 4.2 specifically asks 'Do you have any children whose parent is not your sponsor?'. My wife has a 17 yr old daughter who lives in Thailand and this FLR is solely for my wife. Should I answer yes or no to this question or should I not fill in section 4 at all? According to the form if you answer yes you then have to fill in the child's details in 4.4.

Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

As I've not had a response on this from anybody I have searched the web for similar posts to this and one of them advised not to complete any questions in section 4 unless you are applying for a dependent as part of the FLR(M) application.

The heading for section 4 is

DEPENDENT CHILDREN WHO ARE APPLYING WITH YOU

The text below this then says

In this section you must include any dependent children that are applying with you (see the payment guidance for details
on who may apply with you). Please note this application will be invalid if you do not.

I think therefore it is safe to skip this section completely.
