UK visitor visa for Indonesian girl....HELP PLEASE :)

Hi,

I am in a long distance relationship with an Indonesian girl who is currently studying in Jakarta etc...

She has been granted a scholarship to Hungary for a 6 month period but would like to apply for a general visitor's visa to the UK to meet me first before travelling to Hungary to begin her scholarship and perhaps I can fly over with her at the time she departs for Hungary etc...

I was wondering how to go about her application ...

Currently I live at home with parents and I am an only child etc... So accommodation is provided sufficiently etc...

She would only be here for 1-2 weeks anyway but will fly to another country directly from the UK.

The visa rules seem to say that unless you are travelling to another part of the UK once you arrive in the UK instead of another country it is frowned upon etc..

I mean she has evidence stating she has time off of her University to start her scholarship within Hungary etc...

Finances is what I need help with in terms of what is it I need to provide to show or she needs to provide and roughly how much money would she need in her account etc...?

I have more than enough money saved and work a part time job currently amongst charity work which is unpaid of course etc...

Obviously my family are more than willing to help with money if it's needed and is it possible to pay towards her flight or at least contribute and will evidence have to be provided as to her flight being paid for and where the money came from etc...?

Do I need to provide bank statements unless my money comes from my building society which are my lifetime savings etc..?
