ILR for Jun 2009 Visa, entered UK in Oct 2010

Dear All,

One of my friend had got his first UK Tier-2 ICT Visa stamped in June 2009, however it travelled to UK on Oct 2010.

Please could you let us know, which rules will be applicable in this scenario for ILR, in first place whether he will be eligible for ILR?

Hi Argus7, sorry but I beg to differ. The person in question here would be eligible for ILR 28 days before the completion of 5 years from the the date he/she entered the UK. provided he didn't exit and applied for new EC after 28 days of exit and satisfies all other usual conditions (absences, etc.,). Experts would definitely agree with me.

Yes, as T2-ICT was granted before April 2010. Eligibility would arise 28 days before Oct 2015, subject to meeting the other requirements.
