English requirement

Post by Kellychoi » Sat Jul 26, 2014 10:49 pm

I am holding a spouse visa at the moment, and I have functional skill qualification level 1 in English ( equivalent GCSE D-G Or NVQ level 1). My teacher said that I don't need to study ESOL because the functional skill in English course is better than ESOL. In that case, for applying a permanent visa or a citizenship next time, do I need to take ESOL or IELTS ?

You need to meet B1 English in addition to LIUK if that's with a English Language course then see :
