ILR visa at the back of a Tier1 General Visa

Post by N_A_Earl » Tue Aug 12, 2014 1:54 am

Hi,
Please can I get some expert advise regarding ILR.

My initial Tier1 General Visa start date: 20th May'2010 - 20th May'2013(3 years).
Applied for extension on the 24th April'2013, therefore the Visa has started from the same date (24th Apr'13 - 24th Apr'2015).
(This is a 2 year extension but technically I expected it to end on May'2015 which has not happened despite following the guidelines that I can apply for an extension 28 days prior to the original expiry).

I have 2 questions which is putting me into a dilemma if the above issue will lead to a rejection when I apply for ILR.
a) I have made an entry into the country on the 22nd July'2010 (Lost 2 months and 2 days which is 62 days) on the initial visa.
b) As a result of the extension my end date on the visa is the 24th April'2015 rather then being 20th May'2015 therefore seeing a shortage of 26 days.

What impact will Question a & b have on my application for ILR when applied.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Thank You
Anthony

a) You entered within 90 days according to the concession rule.
b) Make sure that at least you should be 4 years ,11 months and 2 days for ILR.
