Can Current Company apply for EC as BEP???

Post by ikon1400 » Fri Jul 13, 2007 5:32 am

Guys,

I just had a thought if we can apply for EC using our current company?

reasons,

1) Having my HSMP initial approval
2) i work for an indian MNC which is quite a bigger brand name
3) Currently in a UK based Insurance project & already been to UK in business visit.
4) Scope of sending me again to UK is high , but i fancy that if i approach the manager with a HSMP initial approval things can wrk fast for me.(speculation + optimism  )
5) most of questions like Job offer/TRavel/Acomodation/funds are all ruled out if my company processes my visa.

Now the Questions are :

a) Can the company use the BEP category as they do for business visa applications for this EC too?
b) If yes does the set of documents differ for EC application ?
c) IS it still required to show bank funds?
d) Do i have an edge on other EC applications since its BEP?
e) Should i work for this company alone since i get visa through them after i land in uk?

I need answers for the above to speak to my manager since he might not have encountered such cases before or my company.

Gona throw my dice after expert inputs, hoping to hit Six at first shot!!! :P

Cheers

Ikon, perhaps no one here knows the answer to your question. As you seem very concerned about this issue perhaps it would be best to contact an immigration lawyer and arrange a consultation. It may be a long time before you get the information you need if you rely only on this board.
