Me and my fiancé have been thinking about taking the singh route via Norway. But I have some questions about it (mainly about moving to Norway) and I'm hoping I'll find some help here
So, once we get married (which we intend to do in my country) and my partner moves to and settles in Norway, can I sort docummentation out here where I live, enter Norway as a tourist and apply from there for a family permit? Or should I do it before I go there? Also, do I have to wait for 3 months (which is apparently the number of payslips they require from my partner) before applying?
They say my EU parter should be able to support the both of us, but is there a finacial requirement?
Another thing that's been worrying me is the language. I know English is spoken by basically everyone in Norway and we also have Norwegian friends, but would the fact that we don't proper speak Norwegian be a problem when getting the UK EEA family permit? (because of the "immersing yourself in the EEA country culture" requirement)
