supporting letter for spouse visa

Post by filly23 » Thu Sep 18, 2014 12:57 pm

Hi

I would like to know if it is necessary to add a supporting letter with the spouse visa application?

I don't believe it's necessary but I'd describe it as sensible.

I would suggest using it as a form of covering letter, outlining the evidence you, as the sponsor, are sending - how you met your spouse, how long you've been married, where you're going to be living etc.

We do it for all the family visitor visas we send for my mother in law and brother in law.
