EX-over-stayer Left UK volunteerly

Post by ahamid » Sat Sep 27, 2014 6:07 am

Hi
I was in UK on study visa from 2006 to 2009.
from 2009 to 2013 i was an over-stayer in UK.
On June-2013 i left UK on my own expenses.
i been stopped at airport and they took my finger print.
Now i married with a British girl.
And we are planing to move France.
If i apply a visa to France, will my previous immigration history matter?
I heard they asked other members before issue a visa?
Any suggestions please.
Also can some one tell how many years a ban i will get normally from UK in my situation?

You Should be alright though as you will be accompanying a British Citizen, who is an EU citizen as well, therefore you previous immigration history, should not have an effect on your french visa.
