Can i travel to India after taking Oath ceremony

Post by Gousi » Sun Nov 23, 2014 7:17 pm

Hi All,

I have Oath ceremony next week for citizenship and i have plans to visit to india in December.

Is this ok?

I think getting the british passport and OCI/tourist visa and etc will take lot of time.

Can you please suggest me whether i can use my indian passport to go to india after oath ceremony?

Thanks for all your help and i appreciate your response.

Regards
Gousi

You have 90 days from date of ceremony in which you can travel on your Indian passport before penalties become applicable.
