Status of the Families of British subject after their death

First I wold like to say hello to all,I am new and by mistakenly any mistake happens to me, than My apology accept in advance. With the help of this forum, may I got some helpful directions to solve my legal matter before the court.
I strongly believe that all the members on this board are very skillful and intelligent in providing advice and help in the light of LAW.

Statement:- Actually Our Great-grandfather and grandfather were British Subjects by Birth. They were in Government service since 1925-1948 under the British Empire. Further my grandfather worked in Britannic Consulate Kandahar as Orderly Nurse in Military Department. While grate-grandfather was in Police department. Passports were issued to my grandfather having the Notional status or Nationality "British Subjects By Birth".
When British India gained independence from United Kingdom in 1947, my father was minor of about 2 year old. As the time passed my father grown up in Pakistan and by the need of circumstance, He adopted the Pakistani Nationality. Due to worse condition of Pakistan because of terrorist activities, we have the following question.
Question :- 1. Could we apply before the Court for the British Nationality by decent?
2. Could we have any chance to become British Subjects?
3. Whether the Her Majesty will provide shelter to us under LAW?

Seniors can tell you better, but according to this link what I am quoting below, you no longer claim anything by being a British Subject:

British subjects, other than by those who obtained their status by virtue of a connection to Ireland prior to 1949, automatically lose their British subject status on acquiring any other nationality, including British citizenship, under section 35 of the British Nationality Act 1981.

Since your dad got Pakistani nationality he has lost the Subject status.

I am subscribing to this thread myself as its an interesting piece of information to have.

Writing with regret, Unfortunately I didn't get any satisfactory reply from our members at Immigration board.com. I don't think so I have submitted a query before the immigration which will snatch the answerable quality from the members at immigration board. Or I consider the members at immigration board.com are not qualified to answer against the query, have posted. Anyhow I hope some one will dare to come up for any answer. To give a bit of history. Every person born in the British Empire before 1st January 1949 was a British subject. However, after 1949, only those with a direct connection to the UK became CUKCs (Citizens of the UK and Colonies). A status of British Subject without Citizenship was kept for people who had not acquired any other citizenship. If any other citizenship was acquired, either by naturalisation or by law (so, by being born in a country, such as Pakistan), British subject status was lost (Section 35 of the British Nationality Act 1981). The Pakistan Citizenship Act 1951 Section 3 made your grandfather a Pakistani citizen and he therefore lost his status as a British Subject.

In any case, the status of a British subject can not be inherited. So, even if your grandfather were to have it, none of his children or grandchildren would have it.

You were already given a clear answer for your original question. It may not be the answer you would like to hear but it is what it is. No one is going to come up with new ways for you to acquire BC if the law does not allow it.
