Tier 2 General to Tier 4 Dependent

Hi,

Please could the experts here help/suggest me in regarding to below query

1. Can tier 2 Dependent change visa status to tier 4 with in UK
2. Is it possible to convert from tier 2 General to Tier 4 Dependent with in UK

to explain it more, I am On tier 2 General and wish to go for contracting, I will be eligible for ILR on 10 Yr route if I change my visa to tier 4 dependent as my wife is interested to study Post-graduation.
