Travelling on Schengen visa without UK spouse

I have a Schengen visa valid for one year. I obtained it as the spouse of a UK national. I had previously had a Schengen visa which has now expired and I was able to travel on it twice with my spouse. I would like to visit France for 4 days in April without my spouse. Would I be able to travel on this visa without my spouse, initially my spouse was meant to travel with me but due to work commitment she was not given time off work to travel.
