I am in need of your help, please! I am a British Overseas Territory Citizen ( BOTC ) , I want to register as a British Citizen, but I do not know what to do.

I am registering under the alternative provision :

If you are a British overseas territories citizen and did not become a British citizen under the British Overseas Territories Act 2002, you will be eligible for registration as a British citizen unless:
your British overseas territories citizenship is by connection only with the Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia; or
you have previously given up British citizenship by a declaration of renunciation.

I do not know which form to use, I have no other nationality, as my country of origin does not allow dual nationality, but I still hold a passport from that country, from before I was registered in the Turks and Caicos Islands as a BOTC in 2012.

Will I have to meet the 5 year requirement, It does not state so, but I see it in the form? Please, help me out, I really need your support.

I have seen both forms, but I do not know how to complete them, because, there are sections that do not apply to me, and I do not know which form to use, I am completely lost.

Can someone explain to me, if I'll need to sit the life in Uk test, since, I'm registering? Besides my BOTC passport, and my registration card as a BOTC, I do not know what other documents I should send, please help, It is very urgent! If someone can advise me on how to complete the right form, I would be forever grateful for that kindness! Thank You!

Where were you before that, how were you registered there? Where are you now? What is your connection in the list provided in this link etc?

Either way I'd strongly recommend getting a professional advice from immigration professionals.
