FLR(M) or PBS dependent visa for my Spouse

Post by bilal786 » Sun Jun 07, 2015 3:53 pm

Dear Senior Members,

Need help with regards to the visa of my wife. My wife came to UK in July, 2014 on PBS dependent visa & her visa is going to expire on 24th of June, 2015. I have indefinite leave to remain which was granted last month.

My spouse is a doctor and if we go ahead with PBS dependent visa she will have "doctor in training restriction". Kindly could you please advise if FLR(M) visa has this restriction? I understand that if we go ahead with FLR(M) visa her stay in the UK will be reset to zero.

I look forward your feedback.

Many thanks

FLR(M) has no working restrictions and Dr training is permitted. The 'clock' would indeed be reset.

Hi Amber,

Many thanks for your help--my wife's visa FLR(M) has been granted. I think this is our lucky week because today she has passed her PLAB exam too :D

Again, many thanks for your guidance.

Best Regards
