Hello,
I have my ILR in a few months and am currently preparing all documents, and I have 2 questions, hope someone can help?
1. I run a limited company, and am the sole director, drawing a monthly salary and dividends. Am I eligible to make an in-person application or can I only make a postal application?
2. My accountant recently recommended an increase in my salary, and issued the higher salary payslips accordingly for the last two months. I have also been paying the higher NI to tax office accordingly for the last 2 months. But I made a really silly mistake: I forgot to adjust the salary direct debit from my business account to my personal account! And now the salary that's been coming into the bank is not aligned with the salary slip for the respective months! What do I do? Can I just make a one of payment from my business ac to personal ac called 'salary adjustment for Apr & May 2015' and pay myself the short fall, and attach a letter at time of ILR explaining the error?? This adjustment will not be reflected in any payslip as the payslips have been showing the correct higher amount all along....
Or is that another alternative?
Confused! Can anyone guide me?
Thanks in advance!!!
