Discontinuing spouse visa

Post by rosesarered » Tue Jun 23, 2015 11:13 pm

Dear All,

I hope you are well.

I wanted to ask a question.

Basically my wife is here in the UK on spouse visa which expires on the 19th of next month.

I have been offered a dream job in Pakistan which I cannot refuse so we are planning to go back before her visa expires.

I just wanted to ask how we should go about this and if in the future we need to apply again, will there be any problems and will we have to start from scratch? we have had 2 daughters who are British through me.

Will appreciate that very much.

Many Thanks

Regards

How long before she qualifies for SET(M)?

If she leaves before being granted SET(M) or FLR(M), then she will have to start from scratch, satisfying the relevant rules at the time of her application.

Hey,

Thanks for responding.

We have to apply for a spouse visa extension now and then she will qualify for ILR after 2.7 years.

OK Thanks for clearing up that part, how do we leave so it does not have a bad impression, do we write to anyone or submit anything?

Thanks

Regards

Hassan

She probably just have to explain things when she's applying for a future entry clearance.
