Flr (fp) and public funds

Post by Zorowah » Tue Oct 13, 2015 1:38 pm

Has anybody been granted flr (fp) recently on the basis of having a British child? And were you allowed access to public funds?. I currently have a pending application with the home office and want to find out if I will be allowed access to public funds, as without public it will be extremely difficult to survive. Thanks

6.3. Decision to grant leave to remain as a partner (Immigration Rules FLR(FP)
Under paragraph GEN.1.11A, this grant of leave will be subject to a condition of no recourse
to public funds
, unless the applicant has provided the decision maker with satisfactory
evidence that they are destitute, or satisfactory evidence that there are particularly compelling
reasons relating to the welfare of a child of a parent in receipt of a very low income.. For
further guidance on the policy on recourse to public funds, see Section 13 of this guidance.

Edit: How are you now applying for FLR(FP) when in a previous post you were attending your British passport interview? :?

Then please ask your friend to register on the forum or be open about the fact that you are asking on the behalf of someone else.
