Spouse Visa - Required Documents

Post by jk2015 » Wed Oct 14, 2015 9:43 pm

I am an Indian Citizen. I have got my 'Indefinite Leave to Remain' VISA on Feb 2015. I was with 'Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer' VISA before I got my ILR.

I was working as a salaried employee till May 2015. My company filed the tax for me till May 2015. I am now self employed. I have set up my limited company and working as a consultant for that company.

I am getting married next month. My fiancee is an indian citizen living in India at the moment. I am planning to apply for dependant VISA for my Fiancee next month.

1. What VISA category should I apply for?
2. Is there any complication in this case as I have switched from salaried to self employed and I have not yet filed any tax return as self employed?
3. Where can I find the list of necessary documents that I need to submit for Dependant Processing?

1. Spouse settlement visa - VAF4A and Appendix FM (I think)

2. You need to meet (and ongoing) the financial requirement of £18,600pa in the last 12 months and provide the evidence.

3. If you look at the FLR(M) application form, page 62 or so has a good list of documents. (Flr(M) is the in UK/country spouse visa form but has good examples)
Char (CR001 not Casa)
