Hi,
I'm hoping for the experts to help me out with my query below:
I've been working on an entrepreneur visa since April 2014 in the UK. Now, I'm getting a job opportunity (contractual role) in Jersey (one of the Crown dependencies which, technically, isn't a part of the UK). What I'm unsure of is whether I'm allowed to work there or not. And in either case, what would be the legal formalities that would need to be completed to be able to commence work there?
In case I'm not allowed to work there under my current visa, I could ask the company to provide a sponsorship visa so I can switch my visa category from T1 entrepreneur to T2 sponsored. But in that case whether my work in Jersey will be counted towards the 5 year ILR period?
Thanks to all of you for any help you can extend on this matter.
Regards
