Confusion on Eligibility for Neutralisation

Post by arsalali » Thu Nov 05, 2015 10:20 am

Deal All,

i would appreciate if anyone ca clarify something for me.

I was granted ILR in July 2014 based on the long residency. (10 Years). I was on Tier 2 but because my completed my 10 year before the completion of 5 years on tier 2 i applied for ILR based on long residency and got ILR.

My question is , my eligibility for neutralization is

10 years Long residency + 1 year ILR

or

5 years Tier 2 + 1 year ILR

Appreciate your quick reply.

Citizenship is based on 5 years residence which must include 1 year on ILR. It makes no difference how you got ILR.
