Biometric enrollment - wrong surname

Hello. My wife received a request for biometrics enrolment. The problem is that they addressed letter using her maiden name. I am sure we used proper details in application for naturalisation and they had copies of her passports. As they expected we reported that personal details were incorrect using Nationality Biometrics email address and received automated email that the message was recorded.

Have you ever had this problem? What will happen next? How does the procedure look? Can She have any problem if biometrics is delayed? I think the post office refuse her biometrics application.
