Spouse visa , Employee Letter

I have asked my employer to write me a letter but she needs to know the exact information that needs to go on the letter .

I learnt from a friend that the work gross must be used and that the employer also needs to list the monthly gross salary for the 6 month prior to the application .

Like if an app is made in Feb 2016

Jan 2016 .... £1600 gross
Dec 2015.....£1540 gross
Norvember ....4455 gross
October........£12444gross
September .....£11000 gross
August ...........£1246gross

Is this correct?

Does anyone have a template I can look at please

There is no 'standard template'. The letter needs list your GROSS ANNUAL SALARY, not each month of the 6 that have passed.

The letter needs to confirm your position, the date you started employment and your annual salary. Basically a summary of your contract of employment.
