payment discrepancy

Post by coffeegirl » Mon Feb 15, 2016 4:52 pm

I had a problem with my December wage slip - bank processing error meant that they paid me 20p too much. I didn't realize this until I was checking documents to send so I quickly manged to get letter from bank to explain the wrong amount.

The problem is my online application was submitted on 04/02/2016 however the letter is dated 08/02/2016 - Will that be a problem?

And yes ,
Did they correct the amount in the bank statement as well. If yes then just get the correct bank statement and leave the bank letter.
And if they still did not nor they are going to change it then put the statement plus letter. And mention this in the additional information.

Thanks

No - stupid bank processing error is costing me so much hassle.
Payslip was £536.20 pence
they cashed into my account £586.40
and then made a correction on statement to bring balance to £536.40
however at that time I didn't notice the 20 p difference. So they wrote a letter now to confirm the problem but haven't taken 20p back
