When does evidence get submitted?

Hi all,

Looking for some clarification please if that's ok.

I'm preparing the submission for my wife who has Jordanian nationality and is applying from Dubai. I'm a British Citizen and have begun to complete the online application on the Visa4UK. I'm aware that I need to supply additional documents for the application. But when does this actually need to go? and where? Do I need to provide it when we have the interview in Dubai?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The processing time says it could take up to 3 months. Is that 3 months of submitting the application on the Visa4UK site or 3 months after attending the application centre?

I expect the processing time is counted from the time the regional UK diplomatic post which processes visas receives the application and supporting documents from the VFS Global office where they have been submitted.

On a slightly different note, our Marriage certificate is from the UAE and is in both English and Arabic and stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As she is Jordanian and I am British, Does this also need stamping at the Jordanian and British Embassy in the UAE?

no, not necessary for her UK visa application but the original certificate has to be submitted.
