HSMP EXTENSION FOR A DEPENDANT ABOVE 18

Post by ATBPLC » Sun Dec 16, 2007 3:17 pm

I belong to 1+3+? group and I intend to apply for my extension 1 year before the expiry of my current leave due to a special reason but I have a dependant, my son, who is presently above 18 years.

I seek your advice as to whether I should forward his application with mine now or get my approval and allow him to apply for extension with FLR(O) when it is 5 weeks to the expiry of current visa as per the guideline

Agian, if I have to send my son's application now, do I need to put the two applications together, or let them go seperately since both applications are going to different places.

Will those who have passesed through or knowledgeable about this, please guide me accordingly,

Thanks Victoria.
My son is studying through Open University and doing part time work (20hrs per week)
