I am sole trader and been operating for one year.
Recently my wife based in Dubai got refused spouse visa for visa on the following grounds:
----
You say in your Appendix 2 that your sponsor has been self employed for 1 year as a sole
trader and received an income of £20,832
However, you have not submitted the documents as shown in paragraphs (a) and (g)
above. Therefore, I am not satisfied that your application meets the financial requirements
of the Rules.
(a) Evidence of the amount of tax payable, paid and unpaid for the last full
financial year.
(g) Evidence of ongoing self-employment through evidence of payment of Class
2 National Insurance contributions, or (where the person has reached state
pension age) through alternative evidence (which may include, but is not
confined to, evidence of ongoing payment of business rates, business-related
insurance premiums, employer National Insurance contributions or franchise
payments to the parent company).
Given the above, in view of the fact that you have not provided the specified evidence as
required in Appendix FM-SE to the Immigration Rules, I am not satisfied that you have met
the financial requirement.
----
In the original application I have provided the following documents:
- Self assessment tax return
- SA302
- SA300 - SA Statement
- UTR Number
- Accountants cover letter stating the profits
- 12 months Bank Statements
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT FURTHER EVIDENCE I NEED TO PROVIDE?
Many thanks for your help
