First British Passport - Few Questions

Post by yoursbyheart » Wed Oct 12, 2016 2:14 pm

Dear All

i hope you are all well, i would like to thank everyone as this platform has provided valuable information and help with my numerous queries.

I have finally received my British citizenship(Naturalization Certificate) and almost ready to apply for my first UK passport. I have few questions though, if any of you can reply, will be much appreciated.

1. are we suppose to get our life in UK test back from home office, i did not get mine?
2. my wife is on spouse visa, since now i have become a British citizen, do i need to inform home office/any other authorities on her behalf regarding my status change
3. Can my manager countersign my passport application, we work for a limited company which is registered for VAT as well, her job title is Product Manager and I have been in this company for 3 years so she knows me since then
4. I do not have details of my grand parents, i only know their full names, so date of birth, county of birth etc. is missing, would that be a problem? Should i mention their names in section 8 or just leave it blank or right unknown.

I would look forward to a response and thank you all in advance once again.

Kind Regards,
Chad.

1) No

3) Yes - if not related; no unspent convictions & etc.

4) Not necessary for naturalisation cases.
State "unknown" or even "not applicable".
