Indefinite Leave to remain stamp on old Passport?

Post by sharpharpy » Mon Feb 13, 2017 12:38 am

Hi,

Could I ask you a quick question?

My wife recently renewed her Indian Passport. The "Indefinite Leave to Remain" stamp has remained on her old Indian Password which is now expired/cancelled.

We are going on holiday in April to India for 3 weeks and I was wondering if anyone knew what the current position is on travelling in regards to the Indefinite Leave to remain stamp? -Can she travel with both old and new Indian passports and just show the old expired Indian with the Indefinite Leave stamp when required?

Is there any requirement to transfer the Indefinite Leave to remain stamp over to the new Indian Password if just going on vacation/holiday?

Kind Regards,

vinny
