Cos plus 28 days

Hi everyone,

My current GAE Tier 5 is from 1 Feb 2016 to 31 Mar 2017. And my visa expires on 14 Apr 2017.

I learnt on the gov's website that I am allowed to stay extra 28 days after the terminating date on my Cos. the girl on government's hotline told yes but my University sponsor told me no.

Does anyone have an idea?

The visa can be issued for up to 1 month past the end of the CoS. But your visa is 14 days past the end of the CoS. The visa/stamp in your passport is when you can stay until. You can't stay a day longer.
