Help on UK Spouse visa - applying from India

Post by AMITABHA » Tue Apr 04, 2017 7:10 pm

Hi,

I am a permanent resident in UK.
My wife needs to apply to "join family living permanently in the UK", from India.
I have some doubts/wish to verify that I am applying correctly. Rather than asking all of them here, please allow me to go step by step.

Online application form

https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/Account/login

In the first page, under "Select Visa Type", I have selected
"Reason for Visit" as "Settlement",
"Visa Type" as "Settlement",
"Visa Sub Type" as "Wife"

and then created the application. Is this correct?

Yes

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
