Continue working in the UK before citizenship decision?

Post by 0ms29 » Tue Jul 04, 2017 3:35 pm

I'm currently working in the UK on a tier 2 visa. I applied for citizenship in May via form UKM (British mother), and I'm still waiting for a decision. Problem is, my visa expires at the end of August. Can I stay in the UK until there's a decision on my application? And can I continue working, or will I need to apply (and pay) for a new visa which I'll potentially only need for a few months? Thanks for any help!

You will need an extension of your visa.
