ILR Premium/Postal Applicatio for Main Applicant and

Post by Ademola » Tue Jul 04, 2017 4:55 pm

Hi,
Please, I need some clarifications as per ILR.
I am currently on Tier1 general and hoping to apply for IlR in the next 2 months. I want to use premium service for myself while I Post my dependents Application form to the Home Office.
1) How best do I go about this Please?
2) Which Form do I complete for my Application?
3)Which form do I need to complete form, my dependants
4)Is this permitted by the Home Office? My dependents are here in the UK but just can't afford Premium fees for all us.
I do appreciate your response

Regards,

Ade.

When applying together, you must all apply with one SET(O) form and pay for premium. If you cannot afford it you all better apply via post.
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice

1) How best do I go about this Please?
Apply for your ILR in person, if successful then post dependents but you must do this before their visas expire. If your ILR fails (tax amendments for example), then their ILR will also fail.
2) Which Form do I complete for my Application?
Set(O)
3)Which form do I need to complete form, my dependants
Set(O) if applying by post on their own. If applying in person with you then all of you use only the one form, you as main applicant.
4)Is this permitted by the Home Office? My dependents are here in the UK but just can't afford Premium fees for all us.
Yes, many have done this.

Thanks for the response, much appreciated.
Just to clarify please:

What is the difference between SET(O) and SET(M)?

a)If my application is successful, what do I need to include along with SET(O) completed application form for the dependants before sending it to the home office? (Postal Application for Dependants)

b)Do I need to complete SET(O) Form for each dependant? or Wife as the main Applicant and kids as the dependant?

c) if am using premium service, how many days in advance do I need to make the application before my visa runs out?

Thanks in advance.

Your dependents don't qualify for Set(M) as they DO NOT hold the required visa for that form, ie spouse/child settlement visa.
