Breaking continuous residency in the UK

Hi,

I’m not sure if this is the right section for this topic, if not can you please advice me where to post it?

I’m a EU national currently living the UK since March 2014.

This year I’ve been away for 57 days already and from August 7th I’m planning to go travelling for a few months, however I’m not sure for how long I can go without breaking my continuous residency.

First of all I’m aware that I cannot be away more than 180 days in a year. So surely I would have to get back before the end of the year, precisely before the end of November.

Secondly I’ve heard that I cannot be away for longer than 90 days in a row, is that true? If so after this 90 days, when can I leave again for a longer period? Should I just touch base in the UK or should I stay a certain amount of time?

For continuous residency you need to be preset in the country for at least 182 days per year
You get permanent residence after 5 years of continuous residency
Then you can apply for naturalisation after 12 months after PR given that you were out of the country fr no more that 450 days whitin the 5 year period and no more than 90 days in the last 12 months
