Tier 2 - English Language Assessment

Post by harryisback » Fri Sep 22, 2017 6:54 am

Hi,

I got my degree assessed by UK NARIC. My english language is considered at C1 CEFR level but my degree is considered equivalent to British Bachelor's (Ordinary) degree.

My question is that will this assessment work for tier 2?

Thanks.

Hi All,

Here's the update, I consulted the solicitor and she said It's acceptable as most of foreign bachelor honours degree's are considered equivalent to bachelors ordinary degree standard.

Good luck :)

Hi bharathijai,

Yes you need to submit MOI(Medium of inst.) certificate, degree, transcript to UK NARIC for visa and nationality service. They will issue two documents:
  • Assessment of English (A1,b1,c1,c2 etc) CEFR LEVELS
  • Degree equivalency
Good luck!

You can give English test also.

Either IELTS for UKIV or trinity college etc. List of authorised test and approved centres has been given on the gov website.

Thanks

Dear All,

I am hoping you will be able to help me with my query below:

I have a SCQF Level 11 Certificate Qualification (QCF Level 7) from an institution based in the UK, do I still need to give English language test or get my degree assessed by NARIC?

How can I check if my Certificate qualification is eligible for an exception, in case I don't need to provide my English language test result?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
