Timeline for Spouse Settlement Visa from Pakistan to UK

Post by lamboo » Tue Dec 12, 2017 3:01 pm

Whilst waiting for my wife's Visa to be approved we both frantically took to this forum to find similar stories/timelines and noticed a recurring theme, people would list when they started their application, but rarely the conclusion.

So here is the complete timeline for our application:

25/10 - online form submitted and paid for (premium)
02/11 - biometric appointment
03/11 - supporting documents posted
06/11 - supporting documents received
15/11 - original supporting documents posted back
16/11 - phone call from home office re: work, etc.
08/12 - sms/email saying collect passport
11/12 - passport collected, visa accepted

I used the following locked post, for help understanding what was required to apply directly without help from any solicitor or immigration adviser: immigration-for-family-members/update-o ... 93554.html
