how long after acceptance of Tier 1 do you have to move?

Post by MissIntrigued » Tue Mar 11, 2008 5:01 pm

Not that I've even gotten acceptance yet, but I want to time my application right, so that when I (hopefully) get accepted, it's not before I can feasibly move.

So, let's say I received acceptance of a tier 1 visa on jan 1, 2009. How long would I have before I have to move to the UK?

After receiving acceptance, do you have to have a job offer to gain entry clearance from the consulate? I'm assuming that's what EC means, right. Entry Clearance.

Anyway, and finally, once you are in the UK on a Tier 1 visa, what is the limit for leaving the country? If I wanted to go home to visit, or to some other country to visit, is there a limit on how many times I can come in and out of the UK, and for how long?

Thanks much
