Re-entering UK after Tier 5 has expired

Hi, I have a couple of questions regarding my unique situation and wanting to re-enter the UK.

My Tier 5 expired on the 21st of December and I left England on the 15th of December.

I want to re-enter the UK on the 2nd of Feb to visit my boyfriend however, I am a bit worried about border patrol as I had a Tier 2 Visa denied in August -this was on account that there was a mix-up with my sponsor.

I have a new sponsor and they are trying to obtain a certificate of sponsorship but have been unsuccessful twice. Will this show up on my record or not as it is the school being unsuccessful, not me?

If anyone has any insight or advice it would be much appreciated.
