Thank you for reply, Yes I have earned more 18600 in last 12 months, Ironically 31 of March was end of Financial year my self assessment is more than £18600. But most of that income came via my limited company which I am sole Director off, hence Category B doesn't apply to me ?seagul wrote: ↑Mon Apr 02, 2018 8:51 pmSelf employment is one of the hardest way of meeting financial requirement because a large range of evidences are required. But regarding your employment which is less than 6 months then be informed that if you have earned £18600 during the last 12 months then can apply under category B.
If you have earned £18600 through self employment during the last 12 months then yes category B won't be appropriate for you. You should go ahead with self employment otherwise after 4 months you can apply under category A if you can wait such long.humble_pie14 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 02, 2018 11:02 pmThank you for reply, Yes I have earned more 18600 in last 12 months, Ironically 31 of March was end of Financial year my self assessment is more than £18600. If you will be meeting financial requirement through employment then any other incoming/outgoing other than the wages won't matter.humble_pie14 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 03, 2018 10:25 pm
Hmm, no we don't have that much savings. But come July when I will have 6 payslips from my job meeting the £18600 requirement. Would it be a concern apart from this job I will also have income coming into my account from a limited company which I own. Technically it shouldn't since I have entitled to work for somebody at the same time own a small business myself ?
