Anyone job searching on TIer1/HSMP from USA?

Hi there

I am planning to apply for Tier 1/former HSMP by end of the year. Can anyone tell me their experience with job searches while still in the US?

Not to be disinterested in other postings, but it seems majority of posts by people are from India or Pakistan, and an overwhelming majority of those are in the IT field.

I'm a 25 year old woman from the USA, with a background in substance misuse counseling and mental health services (undergraduate degree level, not PhD or Masters or MSW)

So, was wondering how job searches were for people from US in other job areas aside from IT and stuff.
