Hello,
I'm an Italian girl who works here in the UK and would like to get married to a Korean guy in this summer in Italy. At the moment my boy friend is here with me in the UK working as a volunteer.
But we would like to know if, after the marriage, my future husband will be able to get a residence permit from the UK because we would like to stay in the UK after the marriage...

After a valid marriage, apply for an EEA family permit. When in the UK, apply for a residence card.

If you are married (or if you have a long term documented relationship), your husband has the right to live with you, travel with you and work. He should apply for a Residence Card as documentation of his rights.

How long does it take to get a residence card once you apply for it??

Legally they must give it to you no later than 6 months after you apply.
