Got it!!!

Post by libby » Wed Jul 11, 2018 9:48 pm

It’s been a long journey lol and this site has been so valuable. Thanks to everyone who responded to all my questions in my times of panic lol
So I’ve been granted my citizenship and passport arrived last week Tuesday

History
Came in 2005 as my mum’s dependant and remained so till 2015 (with lots of challenges lol). In 2015 I got my ILR using the same day service and in March 2018 I believe I sent out the application on the 29th but wasn’t received till 4th as it was bank holiday received acknowledgment about 3 weeks later plus issues with payment and given 14 days to sort it. Long story short got the approval first week of June and my ceremony on the 20th of June. Sent application for passport same day (20th of June) and arrived on the 29th .

Good luck to everyone else waiting or about to apply! X

Came in as a visitor in 2005 till december aged 15 then in Jan 2006 was granted "leave to remain", that's what it says in passport under type of visa. Then switched again in may to child dependant and have remained so till this date.
