FLR/FP APPLICATION GRANTED

Post by Tybase » Sat Nov 17, 2018 7:05 pm

Hello Everyone,

I have been reading different cases and learnt from most of them(good or bad).

This is a post to also share my good news and to encourage everyone still hoping to hear positive news.Stay hopeful and be positive, there is always a light at the end of every tunnel and remember delay isn't denial.

My case has been very long and tough but finally won the battle.

My "actual"FLR/FP application that was granted took exactly 5months to get back.(though my family started as asylum seekers in 2011,and got several refusals and removal directions, flight booked to return back to Home country, several refused appeals or rights to Upper tribunal).

My solicitors were almost certain this last application was going to be refused as we have had back to back refusals since since. The idea was to keep applying until my 5yr old child turns 10 in 5years😂😂(funny but "final hope)

I mean it's been rough but there goes my brief history in case there is anyone in similar situation.

I had been coming with my family on visit visa but stayed back in 2011(so kids born outside the UK have been here 7years,5months at d time of the FLR/FP application
I have 4 kids- 3 born outside the country 1 UK born

Postal application done 15/06/2018

I didn't check if it was delivered or not even though I could have,I just decided to just let things take its course.

July 2018-
Contacted my Mp in July and they wrote to the Home office,HO replied them saying we are kniwn to them amd have the application

Sept 14th 2018
Got biometric Letter/fee waiver acceptance
Letter and a letter stating complex case, outside the rules and will take longer to decide.
Those letters were sent from Refused case management team

Sept 15th-Enrolled biometrics

November 16th-
signed for my all my original documents, even the ones they had since 2011 and Letter of grant of leave to remain for 30months

Granted 02 November 2018

Biometric card hasn't come yet

May all our expectations not be cut short by the Grace of God
I know the post is long,Thanks for your time😆

But you might encounter severe difficulties in meeting good character requirement in subsequent stages especially during naturalization.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Hi seagul,

Thanks for noting that, like I said my case was asylum and had reasons for claiming asylum even though my Leave wasn't granted on asylum.

I can't say I won't take the Leave I have be granted because of subsequent stages of future application as every application at every point in time have their merits.

My post was to encourage people going through similar situation and not to worry about naturalisation "just yet".

Cheers
