Hi,
I am not sure is it the right board to post. But I hope someone can help me to answer some of my questions.
Background: I have been in the UK since 2010 under several visas. My partner and I got married earlier this year, and therefore I am currently under a spouse visa to give me right of abode and work in the UK. I understand I can apply for ILR through the 10-year route; the day that I reach 10-years will be early 2020. I have spent roughly 300 days outside UK in the past 8 years, and this under the requirement of 540 days.
Questions: My company has customers in Europe, and they wanted to send me to Europe for meetings, possibly around a couple months (discontinuously, coming back at the weekend). I am still be paid by the UK company.
1. Under my current visa status (spouse visa), am I allowed to travel there for work?
2. Will that time spend for work in Europe count as “Outside the UK” and count in my ILR application?
Thank you in advance.
