Application with password due to expire?

Hi All

I am about to apply for the BC with a password that will expire shortly (Feb/2019). I wish to send it to the post-office via European Passport Return service.

My question is, when I get a response from Home office and by that time I will have acquired a different passport, would that consisitute an issue?

Passport of course NOT password.

A in date valid passport is not mandatory for citizenship applications.
Char (CR001 not Casa)
