Also, why do you want to apply for ILR?

Irish citizens are considered settled on arrival in the UK (i.e. they have the same status as somebody with ILR) for some purposes (such as their children acquiring British citizenship automatically if born in the UK).

In order to apply for British citizenship, Irish citizens need to meet all the requirements that any other applicant requires. In addition to having settled status (which they do as Irish citizens), they need to have been resident in the UK (including NI) for five years (unless married to a British citizen, in which case, they need to have resided in the UK for three years), been physically present in the UK at the start of the three or five year period as the case may be, and have taken the LITUK test, among other requirements.

Do you meet these requirements?

Life in the UK test is mandatory unless under 18 or over 65 years of age.
