EEA family member (child) obtaining citizenship

Post by xavier_gregoire » Sat Feb 02, 2019 4:58 pm

Hi,

I am French, living in the UK for 5y+. I have my permanent resident status and plan to apply for citizenship this summer. It will be 5y+12 months by then.
My kids lived with me in the UK for 2.5y and then moved back to France. 2y ago or so.

Once I have obtained the British citizenship, what shall I do so that my kids can come study in the British universities as a national (vs International)?

thanks ahead for your precious help
/Xavier

As your question was not about obtaining British citizenship, but about your EEA citizen children studying in the UK, I have moved the question to the General UK immigration forum.

Rules vary among the four constituent parts of the UK about qualification for Home fees. You may want to have a look through the UKCISA website and click through to the relevant constituent part.
